One of the interesting products from enterprising internet marketer Aaron Danker (aka TipTopMarketer) comes SetupMyProducts, a brand new turnkey software solution that promises to leave both IM beginners and seasoned marketing pros in awe at how effortlessly it can build them a dynamic, full-fledged, profit-pulling sales funnel – in just a matter of hours.

The Art of the Sales Funnel

If you have spent even five minutes in the Internet Marketing niche, you quickly learnt that the “money is in the list”, and yes, while the email list is where the true profits are, but how many people know just how to create a  complete and robust sales funnel  designed to effectively capture, then market to those highly-valued email leads in the first place? The gurus all make it sound so easy, but in truth it takes a lot of trial and error to get it right.

In this review, we’ll briefly go over the installation process, and examine the key components of SetupMyProducts to see if they really deliver what they promise. Then I’ll give my overall impression of the software, the positives and negatives, and some final thoughts.

Installation

Once you make your purchase ($97 at the time of this writing) at the JVZoo checkout page, you’re redirected to the “setup” form where you then enter your server information such as IP, username, password, etc. Then you’re asked to submit your Aweber credentials, along with the URL of the website where you’ll host the installation. Granted, handing over such sensitive information may give some subscribers pause, but the Aaron Danker brand is well-known and trusted within the IM industry and besides, you can simply change your passwords as soon the installation has completed. Once that’s done you’ll get a confirmation message that the install is underway. In the meantime, you’ll also have access to the traffic building bonus piece I reference earlier, Trafftastic, which was also created by Aaron and his team. Trafftastic is a ten-module traffic-building video course that can serve as sort of a primer to implementing the actual sales funnel, since the fully automated nature of SetupMyProducts pretty much leaves traffic building as your only task anyway.

Next, within 24 hours you’ll receive an email from Aaron’s team confirming that the installation process has been completed. You’re also given the URL for your resources page, which includes links to all the pages in your funnel – squeeze page, OTO’s, upsells, downsells, affiliate links, etc., as shown below:

Impressions

My initial thoughts after taking a cursory look at this software package were these: How can they offer this gargantuan package of goodies for only $97? Is there a catch to this whole thing, or am I skimming over the fine print and disclaimers? Why are Aaron and his team giving away this treasure trove of knowledge and expertise for so little? To understand where I’m coming from here, take a look at some of the features that SetupMyProducts touts:

• Professional quality squeeze page
• A bundle of high-quality PLR internet marketing products to sell/offer as freebies
• Professionally crafted one-time offer pages with enticing sales language and top-shelf graphics
• Branded PDF reports that you can sprinkle your own affiliate links throughout
• Affiliate program that offers your subscribers 100% commission when they promote your products as an affiliate
• Ready-made Aweber e-mail campaign to promote products on the back end of the funnel

And those are just a handful of the many features that SetupMyProducts offers, all for $97.

Positives

The list of positives for this product is, quite frankly, ridiculously long. I’m still trying to figure out how they’re letting this software package go for under a hundred bucks, for one thing. Regardless, I’ll try to outline a few of the main ones here.

Knowledge & Expertise

To me, this is the most valuable thing you get for your $97.  When you think about a properly done, profit-pulling sales funnel, you realize that it must have several key components to work effectively:

• A professionally done squeeze/capture page with the right mix of sales elements. The squeeze page you get with SetupMyProducts has all the bells and whistles, including a countdown timer to create a sense of scarcity, professionally done images and graphics, organized bullet points, brightly colored arrows and highlights to draw attention to important text, multiple opt-in boxes and the most important thing, compelling sales text. You would have to either pay a professional, or be one yourself to get the artistic and copywriting skill on display here.

• Opportunistic upsell and downsell one-time offers. These provide an opportunity to grab a few sales at the front end of the funnel, and capture leads that might have turned down the initial offer. Again, with the upsell and downsell pages in the SetupMyProducts sales funnel, you’re basically getting all the same quality elements you have on the squeeze page as far as professionally done images, graphics and cover art, compelling sales text, etc.

• Seamless autoresponder integration. Once you capture the leads through your squeeze page, you definitely want to market to them via email afterwards, which is the back end of the sales funnel. SetupMyProducts, amazingly, has an entire email campaign set up for you once you start getting subscribers. In addition to the artistic/graphic and copywriting skill on display for both the squeeze page and the OTO’s, you also need to know how write an effective sales email – to get your subscribers either buying your products or clicking on your affiliate links (or even opening your email in the first place). Well, as you’ll see when you check out the free sample emails that Aaron has included in the Aweber campaign, the guy clearly knows what he’s doing in that department. You’d have to pay a professional copywriter a decent wage to get what Aaron is giving away for free here.

• Ready-made affiliate tie-ins. With both your paid products and free offers, you want to provide real value to your subscribers and make affiliate commissions in the process. With the SetupMyProducts funnel, there are a bunch of ready-made affiliate products for you to market that tie right into the freebies and paid offers you’re already disseminating to your subscriber list. In fact, Aaron even provides you a tidy list of JVZoo affiliate links for products you can market to your subscribers that they would naturally be interested in because they relate to the products you’ve already delivered. It really is brilliant marketing.

Of course this is not an exhaustive breakdown of the IM sales funnel, but it does highlight a few key components, and how this software works to capitalize on them. Once you really start delving into all of the information and links stuffed on the SetupMyProducts resources page, you’ll begin to see the hard work, marketing savvy and tremendous genius of Aaron Danker on full display. He gives you so much expository information, so many sales tips, and enough marketing tidbits that you’d have to try really hard not to make money with his system. You just look at the entirety of what he is offering, and you soon realize that this is a marketer who knows the game inside and out. Products and sales pages asides, his virtual tutelage is in and of itself worth far, far more than a hundred bucks in my opinion.

Free Traffic Building Course

I mentioned earlier that SetupMyProducts leaves the purchaser to generate their own traffic to the squeeze page, but even there Aaron leaves you in good hands. He grants you free access to his ten-module Trafftastic course (that retails for $97), which at first glance certainly has the appearance of a very comprehensive how-to guide designed to teach you how to build traffic the smart way. Covering such topics as SEO, Article Marketing, Social Bookmarking, Link Building and more, if this course is anything like what Aaron has produced thus far, you know it will be nothing if not comprehensive and professionally crafted.  A key bonus here, in my opinion.

Affiliate Commissions Galore

By manually placing affiliate links from products found at Internet marketplaces (like ClickBank) throughout your paid and free materials, you are giving your subscribers both the value they seek, and opportunities to purchase additional materials that earn you solid commissions. By the time you’re done viewing all of Aaron’s sale materials and pitches, you’ll have a pretty solid working template on how to discreetly and effectively market your own affiliate links throughout any content you distribute.

Turn Your Subscribers Into Your Affiliates

Most of the better affiliate programs on the Internet offer somewhere between 25-50% commission on each sale that occurs via affiliate link. Negatives

As I have not yet ran a full-fledged campaign or implemented any of the previously outlined traffic building strategies, I can’t yet say what negatives I might encounter. One thing that’s not really a negative, but may be overwhelming to a novice is just how much information there is to absorb.  Yes, this is indeed a turnkey software solution as promised, but there is traffic building and sales strategies galore to learn and implement. In fact, this review, although in-depth, has covered only the basics of SetupMyProducts, as there is a ton more features that this review hasn’t explored. Besides, even if you’re not a novice at internet marketing, there will be somewhat of a learning curve here, as part of the brilliance of Aaron’s system is how multi-layered it is. A little patience and a willingness to learn will go a long way towards getting you the results that SetupMyProducts promises.

As an aside, if you choose not to edit and/or put your own unique spin on some of the free content and templates you get with this package, you run the risk of having a subscriber receive the exact same information that they’ve seen elsewhere (PLR materials make up a large portion of the content) or gotten from another internet marketer. So there may be a tad bit of content creation/editing involved at some point, but it doesn’t seem like it would be enough to really worry about.

Final Thoughts

Simply put, it could take a beginner years to figure out and successfully implement all of the sales and marketing techniques contained in this single software package. Take it from someone who understands how many long hours you would spend even creating just the squeeze page here, 99% of the work is done for you. Not to mention the instant affiliate payment program and the Aweber campaign that’s already set up and ready to go by the time you receive your congratulatory email from Aaron’s team.

SetupMyProducts seems like an ideal software solution for both an internet marketing novice who is looking to quickly get their foot in the door and start making money online, and a more experienced marketing professional that simply doesn’t have the time (or expertise) to tweak, test, and refine their own sales funnel. Yes, there’s a lot of information to take in, but viewed in a different light, you are getting a $97 crash course on the “ins and outs” of internet marketing from one of the most knowledgeable IM guys in the field, Aaron Danker. So in short, for all you’re receiving for this incredibly paltry sum, I definitely give SetupMyProducts my seal of approval.
